Dr. Kelly Tally was born in upstate New York, but grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology in 2013. Upon graduation, Dr. Tally went to Miami, Florida to attend Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. While at Barry University, she served as podopediatrics club president, was a teaching assistant for gross anatomy and lower extremity anatomy and received multiple awards and scholarships, including the Outstanding Biomechanics/Orthopedics Award.
After graduating with her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Tally completed her comprehensive surgical training at Emory Decatur Hospital. While in residency, Dr. Tally attended and spoke at numerous conferences across the country as a member of the Podiatry Institute. She was also published in the Podiatry Institute’s annual “Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Update Series” and in the “Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery”, alongside her husband.
Dr. Tally’s background of traveling around the United States in support of her father competing in marathons and triathlons roots her compassionate and caring attitude in treating patients, as she grew up around numerous lower extremity injuries. Dr. Tally aims to get everyone, from the weekend warrior to the pediatric patient, back to activities they enjoy doing.
Dr. Tally previously practiced in Gainesville, Georgia after residency, where she earned the nomination into the Marquis Who’s Who prestigious community. She now looks forward to working with her husband in the Suwanee community.
